Upon introduction of the Equal Access to Green Cards for Legal Employment (EAGLE) Act in the House, New American Economy issues the following statement:
“New American Economy applauds the introduction of the Equal Access to Green cards for Legal Employment (EAGLE) Act this week in the House of Representatives,” said Jeremy Robbins, Executive Director of New American Economy. “This bill would have a significant impact on our economy, helping to create new jobs and allow American companies to continue to grow out of the recession. We urge the House to swiftly pass the EAGLE Act and increase pressure on the Senate to take action on immigration this year.”
